Between-run repeatability results were obtained for a series of samples by analyzing each sample 10 times in the same day. Coefficient of variation did not exceed 1.23% for all samples (Table 2).

Introduction au test HbA1c

How Are HbA1c Results Interpreted?
HbA1c values serve as crucial indicators for diagnosing type 2 diabetes and managing glucose control. These values reflect the average niveaux de glycémie over the past three months and are vital for understanding long-term glucose management. The associated diagnoses and recommendations based on HbA1c values are detailed in the following Table 1.
Accuracy and Reliability
HbA1c measured in capillary blood prélèvement de sang séché (CB DBS) samples were compared to three different sample matrices to assess accuracy. At the time of CB DBS collection, different donors provided other sample types:
Different sample matrix results are plotted against appropriate CB DBS sample results in Figure 1. R² values of each correlation are provided.
Stability
For 22 days, HbA1c remains stable (%CV < 2 %) on the prélèvement de sang séché (DBS) card (Figure 2).
Repeatability
Between-run repeatability results were obtained for a series of samples by analyzing each sample 10 times in the same day. Coefficient of variation did not exceed 1.23% for all samples (Table 2).
Conclusion
Regular HbA1c testing is a proactive step towards better health management. By understanding your glucose levels, you can take control of your health, prevent complications, and live a healthier life.
