Accuracy and Reliability
HbA1c measured in capillary blood prélèvement de sang séché (CB DBS) samples were compared to three different sample matrices to assess accuracy. At the time of CB DBS collection, different donors provided other sample types:
– Whole blood EDTA (WB)
– Whole blood DBS (WB DBS)
– Capillary blood EDTA (CB)
Different sample matrix results are plotted against appropriate CB DBS sample results in Figure 1. R² values of each correlation are provided.

Stability
For 22 days, HbA1c remains stable (%CV < 2 %) on the prélèvement de sang séché (DBS) card (Figure 2).

Repeatability
Between-run repeatability results were obtained for a series of samples by analyzing each sample 10 times in the same day. Coefficient of variation did not exceed 1.23% for all samples (Table 2).
